October 13, 2023 – Cathedral Prep Spirit Night – 7:00 p.m. @ Hagerty Family Events Center

All male and female parochial & private school students will be sent a FREE ticket for admission to the Cathedral Prep Homecoming Game as well as a coupon for a FREE hotdog and soft drink.  Watch the game and meet the Homecoming Court!

 October 29, 2023 – Cathedral Prep Open House – 12:00 p.m.– 3:00 p.m.

All male and female middle school students are invited to Cathedral Prep’s Open House to take a student guided tour, experience the co-ed Cathedral Prep campus, see first-hand all the exciting changes, meet our students, teachers, and coaches, and get a first-hand glimpse of all that Prep offers.

 November 4, 2023 – Cathedral Prep Entrance Exam – 8:00 a.m.

All 8th grade male and female students seeking admission to grade 9 are required to take the entrance exam.  Students can enter through the West 10th Street entrance. Doors open at 7:30am.  An application for admission must be submitted online at www.cathedralprep.com/apply prior to taking the exam. There is an optional parent meeting from 8:30am to 9:30am in Cathedral Prep’s Student Life Center during the exam which will cover the academic curriculum, tuition & financial aid, and enrollment information.

December 13, 2023– Early Admission Acceptance Letters Sent

All students qualifying for Early Admission are sent decision letters.

January 16, 2024 – Cathedral Prep Boys Basketball Spirit Night – Hagerty Family Events Center

All male and female parochial students will be sent a FREE ticket for admission to the Cathedral Prep vs. Meadville boys varsity basketball game as well as a coupon for a FREE hotdog and soft drink. 

January 20, 2024 – Rambler Night Out – Hagerty Family Events Center

All male and female 7th & 8th grade students are invited to the 3rd Annual Rambler Night Out taking place at Hagerty Family Events Center.  The event will include a live DJ, games, activities, inflatable obstacle courses, pizza, and more!  This is a great way to meet your future classmates and have a fun winter evening!

January 22, 2024 – Early Deposit Discount Deadline

All students who qualify for Early Admission and submit their $100 tuition deposit receive a $100 discount from their tuition for the 2024 – 2025 school year.

January 22, 2024 – Cathedral Prep Girls Basketball Spirit Night – HFEC

All male and female parochial students will be sent a FREE ticket for admission to the Cathedral Prep vs. General McLane girls varsity basketball game as well as a coupon for a FREE hotdog and soft drink. 

January 24, 2024 – Financial Aid Informational Meeting – Livestreamed – 6:00 p.m.

Cathedral Prep will livestream our Financial Aid Informational Meeting and provide a recording of the meeting to all families afterwards.  The meeting will cover all sources of tuition assistance, all available scholarships, payment plans, and other matters related to the cost of tuition and payment arrangements.  If you are enrolling your first child, you are strongly encouraged to attend the meeting.  The meeting link will be emailed to the families of all applicants in advance.

January 27, 2024 – Alternate Entrance Exam Date – 8:00 a.m.

Male and female students that missed the first exam date and late applicants can take the mandatory entrance exam at this time.  The only prerequisite is an application for admission completed and submitted online at www.cathedralprep.com/apply. Students can enter through the West 10th Street entrance and doors open at 7:30am.  After this date students can schedule special arrangements to take the entrance exam.

February 14, 2024 – Regular Admission Acceptance Letters Sent

All late applicants are notified of acceptance status.

March 1, 2024 – Financial Aid Application Deadline

Diocesan and Cathedral Prep Financial Aid Applications must be submitted by this date.

Early April 2024 – Notification of Financial Aid

Families will be notified of their Diocesan Financial Aid Awards via mail and the Cathedral Prep Financial Aid Awards via email.

April 15, 2024 – $100 Tuition Deposit Deadline

Incoming freshmen should have their deposit submitted by this date.

May 6 & 7, 2024 – Incoming Freshmen Scheduling Nights – 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Students and parents come in on either night and prepare their 9th grade academic schedules which includes choosing electives and foreign language selections. Details and tentative schedules will be mailed to all accepted students in early spring.

May 15, 2024 – Parent Orientation @ Cathedral Prep

The Parent Orientation will be an informational session for parents which will cover academic expectations, uniform ordering, tuition payment options, and several other topics that will assist parents through the completion of the enrollment process. 

July 10, 2024 – Party @ The Hag (Hagerty Family Events Center) for the Cathedral Prep Class of 2028 – 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.

All Cathedral Prep incoming freshmen are invited to The Hagerty Family Events Center for an evening full of fun, games, food, music, and more.
