Cathedral Prep English teacher Ms. Jennifer Mackensen received a great surprise last week when a news crew showed up to her classroom to present her with the Golden Apple Award. Aliyah Castner ’24 nominated Ms. Mackensen for the award, which is sponsored by JET/FOX/YourErie and PennWest University. The Golden Apple Award honors area educators who have made a positive impact upon the youth of our community.
