Yesterday, STEMPath and BizPath students took a field trip to Duquesne University in Pittsburgh. Students in the STEMPath got a tour of the campus and met with Dr. David Kahler, an engineering professor in the School of Science and Engineering. Students had a chance to study fluvial geomorphology by participating in a lab on a river table. Students also had a Q&A session with biomedical engineering student and Prep alumnus Philip Stark ’21. We would like to send a special thank you to Duquesne for this experience! #Prep #STEMPath #BizPath

The season of Lent is a great opportunity to turn back to our Lord through prayer, fasting, and almsgiving as we give him this time to be transformed in his mercy that allows us to begin again, or grow deeper in our relationship with him in this season and beyond. “The Light is On for You" is an initiative of the Archdiocese of Washington, D.C., and the Diocese of Arlington where Catholic churches across the United States are open for quiet prayer and confession throughout Lent. The Diocese of Erie will be participating in this event in select churches on Wednesday, April 9, from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. This event is meant to be a way for Catholics in the diocese to experience the grace of the sacrament during the Lenten season wherever they may be physically or spiritually. All are welcome and encouraged to attend. By participating in the sacrament of reconciliation, whether it has been days, weeks, months, or years, participants experience God’s individual and unwavering love, and one of the true graces made available by the Catholic faith. Please see the attached list for participating churches and go where the Light is ON for YOU! #Prep #Faith ✝
