In keeping our Catholic faith at the center of our mission, we asked our students to share how they stay committed to their faith throughout the summer and why it’s important to them. Check in every Friday to see all the different ways the Ramblers remain active in their own parish communities and in others!
"To stay connected with my faith over the summer, I will begin training to be a eucharistic minister. After many years of altar serving and recently being confirmed, it is time for the next step in my journey of serving the Lord. Weekly Mass and daily prayer keep me connected at all times." - Ty Hulick '25
"I will be going on the Kentucky mission trip this summer, as well as working the July Divine Mercy Encounter, attending adoration at Saint Francis Xavier, and reading at the Blessed Sacrament Teen Mass on Sunday evenings. I hope to see members of the Prep Community at adoration, mass, and making a DME." - Clare DiGiacomo '24

Yesterday, our athletic programs offered a day for our student-athletes to receive a free physical. This was only possible thanks to the generous donation of the time and expertise of medical professionals, most of whom are Prep and Villa alumni and/or parents of students. We would like to thank the 16 physicians, 14 nurses/athletic trainers who provided over 280 students with a free physical for the 2023- 2024 athletic year! #Physicals

We continue to recognize members of the Class of 2024 and Class of 2025 who received the sacrament of Confirmation at their respective parishes the past few months! We celebrate our juniors and sophomores who renewed the promises that were made at their Baptism and took another step to the fullness of initiation in the Catholic Church!
“Lord, you send out your spirit to touch the hearts of all people, so that they may believe in You and in Jesus whom You sent. Look kindly at all candidates for Confirmation as they listen to your voice. Open their hearts to your spirit and bring to fulfillment the good work that you have begun in them. Teach us to appreciate what is holy in others, and to be patient with what we do not understand. Deepen our faith in the gospel and help us to pass it on by our example. We pray that you will continue to guide us and sustain us. Through Christ our Lord, Amen.” #Prep #Faith ✝🕊

“To keep in touch with my faith over the summer break, I meditate over the Divine Mercy Chaplet and study my Bible to begin each day. I also attend Mass with my family on Sundays and play golf with them afterward. Our Cathedral Prep family has been instrumental in helping me grow in my faith this year, and I look forward to sharing His love and mercy with my classmates as a senior Campus Ministry leader.” - Lindsay Armanini ’24 #Prep #FaithFilledFridays ✝
