• Boys varsity soccer went 2-0 on their annual trip to Kentucky. They shut out Tates Creek (KY), 3-0. Max Johnson scored a pair of goals and had an assist. Jack Louie had the other goal, while Ethan Cain had two assists. Breese Stoeger earned the shutout in net. They would also defeat Frederick Douglass (KY), 3-0. Johnson scored two goals. James DiSanza also scored. Will Agresti had a pair of assists, while Louie also had an assist. Stoeger once again earned the shutout in goal. ⚽
• Boys water polo finished 1-3 at the Beast of the East. They fell to Lawrenceville in their opener, 14-8. Lochlan Snider-Mills had five goals to lead the Ramblers. Ely Cooney scored a pair, while Heath Kreidinger also scored. JD Cullen made 11 saves. They won their second game over St. Bendict’s (NY), 11-2. Cooney scored five goals. We were thrilled to welcome back Rory Noonan ’25 to share her journey into Gannon University’s Physician Assistant program!
She spoke about how her time here prepared her not only for the rigorous academics but also for the grueling interview process to earn her spot in the PA program. Her honesty, encouragement, and advice gave our MedPath students, and others interested in the PA route, hope and confidence as they pursue their own health science goals.

Cooney led the way again with six goals. Fortin scored a pair, while Heath Kreidinger also scored. Cullen made six saves. They closed out the weekend with a 17-3 win over Reading. Our seniors were up bright and early this morning to celebrate their “Senior Sunrise.” The Class of 2026 met at the Hagerty Family Events Center before school to enjoy doughnuts, hot chocolate, play some games, and learn who is on Homecoming Court! Congratulations to Maria Bruschi ’26, Nora Cacchione ’26, Gavin Easter ’26, Samira Latouf ’26, Matthew Oblich ’26, Grace Orlando ’26, Jack Raimy ’26, Isabella Speros ’26, Elijah Stewart ’26, and KJ Williams ’26. This experience gave students the chance to hear and learn from engaging poster presentations by healthcare professionals and students. Participants were able to gain insight into current topics, trends, and innovations in the nursing field and imagine their own future in healthcare while networking with professionals.

Congratulations to Brianne Ryan ’26. Over the summer, she graduated from Keystone Girls State. Keystone Girls State is a seven-day government education program sponsored by the American Legion Auxiliary to educate female high school seniors from across Pennsylvania about leadership and civic engagement. Joseph Ott ’26, a student in our MedPath program, recently traveled to the City of Erie to receive an official proclamation declaring September as Service Dog Awareness Month in both Erie County and the City of Erie.
His advocacy is deeply personal, inspired by his grandmother’s journey with sight loss and the vital role service dogs play in supporting independence and quality of life. By bringing awareness to this important cause, he is helping to educate the community and honor those who rely on service animals every day.
We are proud of his accomplishments and the compassion and leadership he demonstrates both inside and outside of the classroom. #Prep #Community

• Boys golf won the Marquette Savings Bank Invitational at The Country Club of Meadville. Connor Laird won the individual event with a 70. Santino Washburn shot a 73, while Nik Blanchard finished with a 77. Joseph Prichard shot a 78. Jack Marz shot an 84. ⛳
• Girls volleyball swept Northwestern. Varsity shut out the Wildcats, 3-0. Kamryn Resurreccion finished with 30 assists and five digs. Coco Speros had 12 digs and 13 kills. Kharhys Nickson had six aces, five digs, and 10 kills. Ellen Hutchinson had 11 digs, while Mackenzie Moore finished with 12 digs. Lily Gallagher had five digs. Elizabeth Hutchinson had six digs. Students from our MedPath program and Anatomy & Physiology courses recently participated in an advanced educational experience at Gannon University’s Gross Anatomy Laboratory.
During the visit, students had the opportunity to engage with four cadavers, providing them with a rare and profound perspective on human anatomy. The experience was enhanced by discussions with current physician assistant and pre-medical students, who shared their insights on academic preparation and career pathways in healthcare. In addition, students attended a lecture highlighting the history of cadaver use in medical education, underscoring both the scientific and ethical importance of this practice.
This partnership offers students a meaningful extension of classroom learning while fostering respect for the individuals who make such study possible through body donation. • Girls soccer swept Titusville. Varsity shut out the Rockets, 13-0, behind Jordan Senz in net. Lauren McCormick, Mya Cavalier, and Sophia Stinson all scored twice. Mackenzie Prather, Kate Toohey, Anna Johnson, Alexa Senz, Jordyn DiRaimo, Kayley McCall, and Peyton Rodgers had the other goals. McCormick had three assists. Congratulations to Natalie Spano. She has committed to play college basketball next season at Division I Mercyhurst University on scholarship. A three-year varsity player, Spano has helped lead Prep to three consecutive Region and District titles, along with helping the Ramblers finish in the top ten in the state for three straight years. Anne-Marie Welsh joined us today for a presentation on Saint Carlo Acutis, who was just recently canonized by Pope Leo XIV. She spoke about his life and his journey toward sainthood, paying particular attention to stories told by his mother. As a young saint, there are many ways that Saint Carlo Acutis is relatable to our students who heard the presentation today. In recognition of a New Year’s tradition that the Acutis family has, every student was able to pick a saint as they left the auditorium today to help guide them on their journey. #Prep #Faith ✝️

Lochlan Snider-Mills and Ely Cooney each scored a pair, while JD Cullen made three saves. They would lose to Greenwich (CT), 18-8. Cooney scored four times, while Snider-Mills had three goals. Heath Kreidinger also scored. Cullen made nine saves. They would drop their finale to North Penn, 12-7. Snider-Mills had three goals.
