Middle school math classes had their third room transformation of the week on Friday – glow day! Students completed MAP review questions while playing Jenga, Connect Four, Don’t Break the Ice, and Tic-tac-toe. #MTA #MathFun 🌟

The “S.A.I.N.T. of the Month” program is a way to acknowledge and celebrate individual achievement. It helps create a school culture that values academic success, as well as elevates awareness of student contributions to the learning environment. Middle School continued their MAP review with “murder mysteries!” Students acted as detectives as they worked through a set of clues to determine who was the murderer, the weapon used, and the location of the crime. #MTA #MurderMystery 🔍

Yesterday, the Middle School math classroom was transformed into an operating room with surgery stations! To prepare for MAP testing next week, students reviewed order of operations by performing eight different surgeries. Students had a lot of fun wearing medical gowns and masks and using syringe-themed pens! #MTA #MathFun 💉➕➖✖➗










Second grade had been asking to work with yarn, so Mrs. Rodgers delivered! Students learned about looms, different types of yarn, and how to make a seven-strand braid using a cardboard loom! This group rocked it with the seven- strand braid and were so excited as they were able to see their braids form on the other side of their looms. So much fun and happy young artists in the art room! #MTA #Art 🧶










Middle School science classes have been busy learning about chemical change this week. They learned about reactions that increased or decreased temperatures. #MTA #Science 🔥🧊




Second grade has enjoyed studying the butterfly’s life cycle this month! Students were so excited to come back from break to find their caterpillars had formed chrysalides and finally turned into butterflies. They spent this morning in the courtyard celebrating with their butterflies and the sunshine! #MTA 🐛🦋

Sixth grade recently learned about electricity in science class. Students spent one afternoon building circuits and learning about switches. #MTA #Science 🔌⚡




Middle school students took a field trip to Penn State Behrend’s Yahn Planetarium. They were able to watch a film inside the planetarium learning all about telescopes and solar systems. The professor then showed the night sky pointing out constellations and planets we can see in our own backyards. Students also participated in a STEM project where they built seismographs to measure earthquakes. #MTA 🌌🔭⭐











As we gear up for spring break, students took part in a door decorating contest! Congratulations to Ms. Johnson’s third grade class for finishing first, followed by Ms. Nolan’s sixth grade class in second. Miss Tyler’s kindergarten class rounded out the top three. #MTA #SpringFun 🐣🐰




Our girls volleyball team has been hard at work in their first season of play! They are getting better with each bump, set, spike, and dig and we are so proud of them! Go Saints! #MTA 🏐
